My Dream Job

Hello again everyone!

It’s been awhile since I’m talking about myself, but now, I’m gonna share about my dream job! Which is………………………… well I’m not sure what I want to be.

Yeah, I really not sure what is my dream job, I mean yeah, if someone ask me “what do you want to do for your living later?”, I’m gonna answer something like Programmer. But deep in my heart, I’m still not sure about it.
            Why? Well, first of all, I heard it from someone that if you pick a job that you like and you have “talent” for that job, you can be success, and by success, it doesn’t have to be that rich, just enough to make me ( and my family ) happy. So yeah, I kinda want to live like that, doing something you love and get money from it, just like PewDiePie, the most subscribed Youtubers in the world, make a lot of money just by doing his hobby : Gaming.
            Well of course it doesn’t mean I want to be like him, but I just want to make money by doing something I love.

And So, since I like computer, and I really enjoying learning anything about softwares, maybe it’s photoshop, corel draw, animating, coding or anything, I really like it even it’s kinda frustrating to learn. That’s why I want a job that require my computers software skills. But there are a lot job that require it, and I haven’t find the job that I have both passion and talent.

About passion, I really like doing something about creating art, especially animating. I really love animating before learning it, I like to watch some stickfigure animation from internet, and then I decided to learn to make stickfigure animation from “Hyun”, he is a famous stickfigure animator and he made an animating tutorial in Youtube (I’m gonna leave the link to his channel below). So then, I try to animating, I learn more and more, I can make a simple fighting animation or simple effect or simple animation, I can make a simple program with the same software too. But now, it’s kinda hard for me to improve my animating skill, because I’m really bad at drawing or imagining the “art” I want to make. That’s why I only can make a stickfigure animation, while others type of animation require a drawing skills. So, I think a job being animator doesn’t suit me. So I just keep my “animating” skill for hobby.

            Beside animating, I think I like messing up with Corel Draw and designing something like Poster, Pamphlet, or something like that, so sometimes I want to be a graphic designer, web designer or any digital designer. But again, my hardcore drawing skill says no. because those kind of job REALLY need a drawing skill, and all I can do is just “copying” some design from google and recreate it by myself. So nope, i just keep my “designing” skill for homework and tasks.

            Then, my other “skill” in computer is video editing. This is the one that I think I really have talent and I love doing it. And one of my “art” that i really love is from video editing even though I like animating more. But I don’t know why, but I don’t want to have job in cinematic world. I just love doing it, it just give me pleasure by just finishing a video/film.

            And the last, is Programmer. It’s like making a program, game, or any other software. I never learn about programing before, I just know a really simple coding with actionscript 2. But, since I know programming/coding require a logic skill, I think I can learn it, and maybe I will enjoy it, because I always enjoy almost anything I learn from computer. So that’s why if anyone ask what is my dream job, I’m gonna answer : Programmer.

Phew, that’s a lot of word just to describe my dream job. I hope I will happy doing my job in the future while still making a lot of money. And I hope all or some of my Hobby I write above will be my job in the future.

Peace

“We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.”-          Dalai Lama XIV (Buddhism)

So there are so many quotes about peace. So many people’s explanation and analysis about peace. And I choose this one because that’s what i think about peace.

There are so many quotes that state peace is all about lack of war, lack of fighting, racism, discrimination, etc. and everyone loved each other. I think this peace will never achieved, I think that is too much and nearly impossible to stop someone from hating.

Why? Because basically, humans are an aggressive creature that love violence. People want to be respected, they want power, they want to be loved. And humans are born to love and hate. Humans have mood. Humans have anger. AND humans born with a various character.

Now imagine, if there is someone who want to be respected first, he doesn’t want to respect anyone before they respect him, and of course many people will hate him, and others  will let him be like that because it seems “normal”,  or maybe there are some people that agree with his attitude, we may never know. Then people will start argue about this, and then they will hate each other too.

Now imagine if he meet someone like him, they both want to be respected first, and they’ll end up hating each other. And now imagine, there are 7 billion people in this earth, many of them could be this selfish guy. And boom! There will be a lot of hate all around the world.

This is only one case, there are so many other cases that will cause people hate each others such as racism, religion, or maybe arguing about which is the best pets : Cats or dogs. Believe me, I’ve seen someone fighting over that silly thing. I mean, really? How can we love each others if we fight over that kind of thing?

Oh well, I’ve been talking about hate like I don’t believe in peace. Well I do, I want peace. But I think forcing people to make peace is not the right way. Because I think that is the problem!!

Many people think that peace is something that people can give to others. They demand peace from government or from others people. People want peace like they want respect. They ask for peace while doing some violence.

 Peace is a condition! Peace is a state of mind! Peace is how your heart and brain feel. Peace is : 

“freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility” –oxford dictionary.

We make peace from ourselves, we make it for ourselves. Peace is achieved, not given. And peace can achieved by understanding.

SO, if a people try to understanding themselves, he will achieve his own peace. Then he can start to understand the others, and letting the others to understand themselves. That is peace. It’s our feeling, we make it ourselves, not asking the others.

So the conclusion from my analysis is, we will never achieve world peace or something like that, because there are so many people with so many character and point of view over everything. But, we can make a peace for ourselves, by understanding ourselves and others.

A Great Leader

             Leader. Leader is not only about position. Leader is the one that have power or authority to change people below him to become a better group or person. A great leader is the one who would sacrifice himself and take responsibility as the leader of some group. It’s not that easy to be a great leader. There are many things to develop from ourselves to become a great leader.

                First, a great leader must have the ability to influence others. It’s because the leader has to move and change his people to become a better person. A leader can’t work alone and need the help from his people but sometimes his people doesn’t care and doesn’t want to work with the leader. So, with the ability to influence others, the leader can move and make his people work together with him.

                Second, a great leader must have a strong principle. Why? A leader without a principle will feel not sure about the steps that he would take or his opinion. Then, he will easily influenced by the others. Meanwhile, a great leader is the one who influence, not influenced.

                Third, a great leader is the one who want to learn by doing. He never afraid to try something new. He will learn from everything that happen around him. He want to be part of something big. He want to try anything and look for experience, especially experience about leading. Then, he will learn from his mistake and experience or even other people’s and become a better leader.

                Lastly, a great leader is the one who would sacrifice himself for a good cause. He take the responsibility and get blamed if one of his people make a mistake. He won’t blame his people, but take the blame and responsibility, then encourage his people and learn the mistake together. AND, a great leader will take less of his credit for something his group did, but give the credit to his people.

                Of course there are many others criteria to become a great leader, including his intelligence, speeching ability, etc. But, those criteria above is the criteria that will make a leader respected by his people as the great leader. Because, a leader must influence the other, and before that, he has to be respected. Then, he can change and move his people to become a better person and he will remembered as A Great Leader

My Bestfriend, My Inspiration

Hello everyone!

            Now, i’m gonna share about an interview i did with my best friend. But first, i’m gonna introduce you about him.

I have a childhood best friend. I met him when i was 7 and still a best friend until now. His name is Maulana Rahmadi and called Nanang. I really love him. He doesn’t has any achievement or anything “special” to be interviewed actually.

So...when i was a little kid, i was a crybaby, i cried a lot. I never feel confident, especially because of my fat body and my immaturity. I always want to be those cool kids, but i knew i can’t. I always treated as a laughing stock. That’s why cry a lot when i was a kid. I still do until i reach junior highschool.

But, as i grow old together with him, we know each other very well. And i find something about him is very interesting, he has something common with me. immature.

People usually become mature as he grow up, but Nanang is always act immature, until now. And usually, immature person always unaccepted by their friends. And i know he must have been bullied/unaccepted sometimes. But i never see him crying or even feel sad about that.

So i ask him,

“do you even realize that sometimes you act immature”.

“Of course."

“if you realize it, do you even feel ashamed by yourself. Or... you know, i know sometimes you feel you’re weird and different, then why don’t you try to act mature and grow up?”

“Why? Of course sometimes i feel weird, but does that matter? I had fun being like this. And i know many people who is immature like me, like you. Sometimes, i bring people happiness by being like this.”

“But you know not everyone gonna like you if you always act immature like that”

“I know, i don’t really care. Because, this is me. I’m immature, i live like this. I’m a grown up, i’m gonna be an adult soon. I know who i am, i’m this ‘immature’ person. Deal with it!

“Well, i know you must have been not accepted or bullied by your friends because your character, don’t you? What were you gonna do about it?”

“Yes i have, and it hurts so much. Especially when you’re still a pre-teen and want to be accepted by everyone. I always tried to change, but i can’t and it makes me sad.

But as i growing up, as i learn who i am. I realize that this is me, everyone has their own character, and this is mine. So i have to live with it, i have to make everyone to understand my immaturity, i have to blend and accepted by my friends with my character. Not trying to be someone else so people will accept me.

And as i said before, i happy with my immaturity, someone happy with my immaturiy, and there are many other immature people. So i’m never alone, i’m unique.”

“Ohh... that’s deep. So, you won’t try to be mature”

“No, i mean.. i know it how to act mature, i know how and when to act like that. But i don’t have to act mature everytime, instead i have to be myself! I mean, of course when my friend depressed and think about suicide... of course i won’t act immature and joking about his problem, that will make him really suicide.

So the point is, my immaturity is my character. And i mature enough to understand about my immaturity, my character and know how to use them properly”

“So, what do you think about your immaturity?”

Well, it’s a grace, it’s what makes me unique. And immaturity makes me forget all the problem and be happy, so why should i try to remove something that makes me happy?”

So, after that little chat. I realize that he had a same problem with me, not accepted by friends. But he has something that makes people don’t like him, but he doesn’t care because it makes him unique and happy. Instead, he make people like him because his “bad character”.

Then i realized again, i was a crybaby, but now i’m tough as hell. And that’s because i grew up with someone who is as immature as me, but stronger than me, Nanang. I learnt sooo many things from him, though i didn’t realize it. I learnt how to be happy with being myself, with my weirdness, with my immaturity. All thanks to Nanang.

Now, i can fit and blend with a new friends with my character and my body. I don’t feel unconfident and ashamed anymore. I’m happy being myself. 

Nanang? he still immature, even now i think he is more immature than me and sometimes i feel annoyed by him. But i never angry to him, i know that that is what makes me love him, his immaturity. I accept him. As a best bestfriend.

So, that’s all an “interview” with my friends. Something i learnt from him and my own experience is :

Know yourself, understand yourself, and live with it. Then you can find your own happiness from yourself. Just be yourself.

Hey everyone, how r u ? Now, i’m gonna tell you about an event by SMAN 3 Bandung : PAMAN GOBER

Paman Gober stands for “Penanaman dan Gowes Bersama”, or maybe say “Pak Taman Gowes Bersama”. It’s an closing event of Dewa Athena, SMAN 3’s sports event. Not only the students, teachers and school’s staff also join this event. This event was held on Saturday, 9 May 2015 in the morning.

We started cycling from Lapangan Bali. We were divided by 2 groups, i was in the front group at the beginning, but i was too slow, well not really, i just didn’t want to be in the front row, so i let people pass trough me, and i didn’t realize that i got separated from the front row. And so i join with the back group.

I don’t remember exactly the cycling route is, but we were supposed to go to Tegalega but we didn’t because... i don’t know. I was on the back group. I know nothing, just keep cycling following the others.

THEN! I realized we were arrived back at Lapangan Bali, i confused because there were no “Penanaman Bersama” in this event, we just cycling with a really short track ( It’s kinda short for cycling event), no planting any plant, and we just sat down and took a rest as we arrived.

I didn’t realize that there are only few people at the Lapangan Bali, where’s the others? Turns out that only the first/front group planted the tree. Well, i’m not even mad, that’s amazing, i was so lucky, because my friend told me it’s boring, hot, tired, and took so much time in there. While i and my group already take a rest.

Then, after everyone have arrived at Lapangan Bali, we took a rest and lunch together. After that, we continued the Dewa Athena event, all the final match were held on that day too. And BOOM, our class won 3 matchs, Female DodgeBall, Table Tennis, and Tug of War. These makes us took the second place for Grand Champion.

Woohoo, congrats to all my classmate, many people doubt that acceleration will win that much.

Hello Everyone, now I’m gonna tell you about a place in Bandung. It’s called HDL Cilaki 293. It’s a seafood restaurant at Jalan Cilaki Bawah No. 36.

Look How Much is it!!!

You should come here in a group with your friends or family. Why? Because the food is so expensive! Well yeah, the food is expensive, it starts from Rp 40.000. BUT. It has a large portion per serving! REALLY LARGE.  So if you bring many friends with you, it doesn’t feel expensive at all. It’s impossible to leave this place without a full stomach.

There are many kind of seafood here. Shrimp, Shell,  Squid, Crab, Nasi Goreng Seafood, tofu, Fish etc. And there are many kind of Fish with many size. The food are served by many kind of sauce, Saus Tiram, Black pepper, ricarica, mentega, asam manis, and asam pedas.

In my opinion, the food doesn’t taste as good as famous seafood restaurant ( Such as Praoe and D’Cost ), but i doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s enough for me. I just want to tell you that if you want a quality, this is not your destination. BUT, if you want quantity, this place is perfect.

The place is strategic but the interior is just like a regular restaurant with a regular table and chair. The place is clean and comfortable. The service is pretty good.

SO! That’s all i want to tell you today. I suggest you to come here and bring your friends/family as many as you can. This is not a best place to eat seafood, but it’s a best place to hangout while eating seafood. Oh and yeah, i suggest you to empty your stomach before come here, and avoid lunchtime/breaktime, because it will get you stuck on a trafficjam around that place.

This is the fourth track from Ghost Stories album. This album theme is about the band’s lead vocalist, Chris Martin’s  divorce from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. The whole song of the album is about heartbreaking, telling how much he love her, and loneliness. He feel so lost without his wife, he kept thinking about her, it haunting him, just like a ghost.

Lyrically, “True Love” talks about heartache and how the protagonist ( Chris ) can’t bear the pain of losing, loneliness, sadness. The truth is too painful to bear that he want his partner to lie to him.

The song's main instrumentation consists in heavy rhythms, dancing synths and wallowing strings. It also features a guitar solo. If you listen to this song carefully, you can feel the heartbreak. I REALLY almost cried when listening to this song the first time.

This is my personal favorite track from this album.

This is the live version of True Love. This is the video of the song where i almost cried. Maybe because this song is too beautiful or i was just to excited to hear this song. ( This video came out when the album is released )

How is it going everyone? Now, i want to make my first movie review. I want to review : TAKEN (2008). Because i just watched it and i really love this movie. So, Let’s Go! (SPOILER ALERT)

17 yo Kim (Maggie Grace) is the pride and joy of her father, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson). Bryan is a retired CIA agent who left his job to be near with his daughter in california. Kim lives with her mother, Lenore (Famke Jensen) and her rich stepfather Stuart.

Kim manages to convince her overprotective father, Bryan, to allow her to travel to pariswith her friend.

Shortly after  landing in the Paris, Kim and her friend kidnapped by Albanians to be sold as prostitutes. Kim has short time to call her father and give him information before she taken. Her father gets to speak briefly to one of the kidnappers and he promises the kidnapper this awesome

But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. But then, the kidnapper challenged and wishes him “Good Luck”. So Bryan Mills travels to hunt those kidnappers and rescue his daughter.

IMO, this is an awesome thriller action movies. I love the action that Bryan showed us. He trying all his best just to save his daughter. He use detective skill, fighting skill, shooting skill that he learnt when he worked as CIA.

Liam Neeson brings the character a hard-edged, cold-blooded, merciless focused anger. He looks so badass in this movies, he just focused on saving his daughter and kill everyone that trying to stop him, even his friend from police department, Bryan shoot his friend’s wife just to get some information from his friend.

Bryan Mills show them (the kidnappers) that they messing with the wrong person.

Taken is not just another action movie that contain many shootings, a lot of fight and car races. But the real drama lies in the reality of human trafficking and the love of a father.

This movie is one of my favorite movies. You should give it a shot, it’s gonna be worth to watch. Although the action is far from James Bond or Bourne, but the drama,tension and the plot is enough to make this movie awesome.

I’ll give it a rate 8.6/10

What Is Sardine Run?

The sardine run of southern Africa occurs from May through July when billions of sardines – or more specifically the Southern African pilchard Sardinops sagax – spawn in the cool waters of the Agulhas Bank and move northward along the east coast of South Africa. Their sheer numbers create a feeding frenzy along the coastline. The run, containing millions of individual sardines, occurs when a current of cold water heads north from the Agulhas Bank up to Mozam

The sardine run is still poorly understood from an ecological point of view. There have been various hypotheses, sometimes contradictory, that try to explain why and how the run occurs.

A recent interpretation of the causes is that the sardine run is most likely a seasonal reproductive migration of a genetically distinct subpopulation of sardine that moves along the coast from the eastern Agulhas Bank to the coast of KwaZulu-Natal in most years if not in every year.

The migration is restricted to the inshore waters by the preference of sardine for cooler water and the strong and warm offshore Agulhas Current, which flows in the opposite direction to the migration, and is strongest just off the continental shelf. A band of cooler coastal water and the occurrence of Natal Pulses and break-away eddies make it possible for sardine shoals to overcome their habitat constraints. The importance of these enabling factors is greatest where the continental shelf is narrowest.

The presence of eggs off the KwaZulu-Natal coast suggests that sardine stay there for several months and their return migration during late winter to spring is nearly always unnoticeable because it probably occurs at depths where the water is cooler than at the surface.

In some years there does not appear to be a sardine run. This may be because it is not detected by coastal observers either because it actually does not occur due to high water temperatures and/or other hydrographic barriers, or the migration may occur farther offshore and possibly deeper due to unusual conditions.

Oceanographic influences

Sardine prefer water temperatures between 14 and 20 °C. Each southern winter the nearshore sea temperature along the South African south east coast drops to within this range. Along the KwaZulu-Natal coast, sardine may be found in water warmer than 20 °C. It was hypothesized that factors beside temperature may influence the movement of sardine along the KwaZulu-Natal coastline, One of these factors may be predation pressure.

Sharks take advantage of The Sardine Run

Dolphins (estimated as being up to 18,000 in number, mostly the Common Dolphin Delphinus capensis, but also the Bottlenose Dolphin Tursiops aduncus) are largely responsible for rounding up the sardines into bait balls. These bait balls can be 10–20 metres in diameter and extend to a depth of 10 metres. The bait balls are short lived and seldom last longer than 10 minutes. Once the sardines are rounded up, sharks (primarily the Bronze Whaler, but also Dusky Shark, Grey Nurse Shark, Blacktip Shark, Spinner Shark and Zambezi Shark), game fish (including Shad/Elf a.k.a. Bluefish, King Mackerel, Garrick, Geelbek and Eastern Little Tuna) and birds (like the Cape Gannet, cormorants, terns and gulls) take advantage of the opportunity.

A Trip to My Dream

Hello everyone! How is it going? Now, i want to share about my holiday. my new year holiday. my first trip to BALI!!! I was really excited because it was my first time to go to Bali. As you know, i do really love quiet place, and i think Bali is a perfect place for me.
I went there on December 31st 2014 at night, so we arrived at bali exactly on 00.00. Yep, unfortunately i couldn't enjoy the fireworks at Bali, but i really fine with that, i got many places to visit there. I just very excited.
Oh yeah, i went there by Plane (obviously) with my Big Family. But my dad couldn't come with us because of his job.

January 1st 2015
On the first day at Bali, we didn't do anything all day, just rested all day in the Villa, and made a plan for the next day. So i guess there's nothing i can share with you.

January 2nd 2015
On the second day at Bali, there's not much i cant share with you too because... we went to Kumbasari, it's some kind of souvenirs shop / Market. Yeah, we went there to shopping, and you know, i felt uncomfortable being in the crowded place, but hey.. I had to enjoy it because it's a part of my trip.
(but really? why did this place had to be the first place we went to? There's so much place like this in Bandung)

Hey, but we enjoyed a sunrise in the morning at Sanur Beach . Well but i'm kinda dissapointed because it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sun clearly. Unlucky me.
So far, there's nothing i could enjoy...

January 3rd 2015
On the third day at Bali. Finally. We Finally went to a beach. To enjoy the beach. To spend the time at the beach. Yeah, we went to Pandawa Beach, it's a very beautiful place, a  very beautiful beach. The first time i saw it, i just felt so relieved, i felt alive, it's like a dream come true. I finally went to a quiet, beautiful place, all i could hear was the waves and winds.
Pandawa beach is a beautiful beach, with a white sand and clear water.
We took a several photo, and then me, my brother, my cousin, my uncle swam in the sea (the others just took some photos). I'm really happy to swam in such a beautiful sea, and the waves is quiet huge too, Maybe because we went there in the evening. We swam until 5 o'clock, took a bath, and then drank a coconut. It was so great. I won't forget this moment.

After that, we went back to the villa and took a rest.

In the morning, we went to Joger. Yeah, to shopping of course. But me and my brother went to the nearest Indomaret, and have a snack together while waiting my family to finish their shopping

In the evening, we went to Kuta Beach to enjoy the sunrise, it took us about an hour to reach there from Joger. But we arrived there on time, so we took a several pics, enjoyed the sunset, and stuff like that.
To be honest, this beach is one of the famous beaches in the Bali, but i still prefer Pandawa rather than Kuta. Well, maybe because Kuta is more famous, so more people come to Kuta, and you know, littering and that kind of thing. But hey, the sunset is beautiful though..

In the night, we went to Krishna, it's a souvenirs shop (yeah, again), i bought bracelets and Pie Susu there. You know why i dont like shopping with my family? because i had to carry 2 big bags of my family's stuff and my stuff is only like 1/10 of them. But, Krishna is a good place to doing nothing to be honest, you know, just walking around like a lost child, looking at the souvenirs and others.

After that, we went back to villa and went home

January 5th 2015
That day is the day when my brother must go home because of his college. I think my bro felt unsatisfied, he still wanted to go to many places. So he invited me, my sister, and my cousins (without the parents ^^ yay) to go to many places in a day.
The journey was just begin.

The First place we visited is GWK, it's a cultural park. We took a several photos, watched some traditional dance, saw some statues and stuff... I didn't feel so happy, even i actually enjoyed it.

The second place was Nusa Dua Beach, we went to the "WaterBlow", well i don't know how to explain this beach, we just enjoyed the huge waves hit the the cliff, from the top of the cliff. Well, just take a look at the pic.

The third place was Dreamland Beach, well it just an ordinary beach, many people said this is a beautiful beach, but still, i prefer Pandawa

The fourth place was Padang Padang Beach, it's a beautiful beach, but we had to take a stairs to go to the beach, and it was so tiring, especially when we had take the stairs again, to reach the top.

And the last beach we visited is Bluepoint Beach, it's the best beach i've ever seen, it's like a beach behind the cave. because we have to take the stairs to went down to the cave, and went through the cave to reach the sea. It's a beautiful beach, i wish i could spend more time there, but unfortunately we had to went home because my bro had to go back to Bandung. If you have a plan to come to Bali, don't forget to go to this place. it's perfect.

After that, we went back to villa, and my bro had to went back to Bandung. But me and my family had to stay until 6th of January.

January 6th 2015
Well, that day, i did nothing but rest. while my family went to somewhere, i didn't go with them because i was so tired, it's not gonna be too fun without my bro, and because i thought they will go shopping again. When i thought they will go shopping, i said "NO".
But when came back to the villa, they told me that they went to another beaches. Yes, i regret it. until now.

In the night, we had to come back to Bandung. I really love Bali, it's a beautiful place to visit. You have to visit it at least once in your lifetime. If i have a chance, i would go there again with my friends, and go to more places, and of course, i want to visit Bluepoint beach again.

I hope that day will come again..
