A Great Leader

             Leader. Leader is not only about position. Leader is the one that have power or authority to change people below him to become a better group or person. A great leader is the one who would sacrifice himself and take responsibility as the leader of some group. It’s not that easy to be a great leader. There are many things to develop from ourselves to become a great leader.

                First, a great leader must have the ability to influence others. It’s because the leader has to move and change his people to become a better person. A leader can’t work alone and need the help from his people but sometimes his people doesn’t care and doesn’t want to work with the leader. So, with the ability to influence others, the leader can move and make his people work together with him.

                Second, a great leader must have a strong principle. Why? A leader without a principle will feel not sure about the steps that he would take or his opinion. Then, he will easily influenced by the others. Meanwhile, a great leader is the one who influence, not influenced.

                Third, a great leader is the one who want to learn by doing. He never afraid to try something new. He will learn from everything that happen around him. He want to be part of something big. He want to try anything and look for experience, especially experience about leading. Then, he will learn from his mistake and experience or even other people’s and become a better leader.

                Lastly, a great leader is the one who would sacrifice himself for a good cause. He take the responsibility and get blamed if one of his people make a mistake. He won’t blame his people, but take the blame and responsibility, then encourage his people and learn the mistake together. AND, a great leader will take less of his credit for something his group did, but give the credit to his people.

                Of course there are many others criteria to become a great leader, including his intelligence, speeching ability, etc. But, those criteria above is the criteria that will make a leader respected by his people as the great leader. Because, a leader must influence the other, and before that, he has to be respected. Then, he can change and move his people to become a better person and he will remembered as A Great Leader

My Bestfriend, My Inspiration

Hello everyone!

            Now, i’m gonna share about an interview i did with my best friend. But first, i’m gonna introduce you about him.

I have a childhood best friend. I met him when i was 7 and still a best friend until now. His name is Maulana Rahmadi and called Nanang. I really love him. He doesn’t has any achievement or anything “special” to be interviewed actually.

So...when i was a little kid, i was a crybaby, i cried a lot. I never feel confident, especially because of my fat body and my immaturity. I always want to be those cool kids, but i knew i can’t. I always treated as a laughing stock. That’s why cry a lot when i was a kid. I still do until i reach junior highschool.

But, as i grow old together with him, we know each other very well. And i find something about him is very interesting, he has something common with me. immature.

People usually become mature as he grow up, but Nanang is always act immature, until now. And usually, immature person always unaccepted by their friends. And i know he must have been bullied/unaccepted sometimes. But i never see him crying or even feel sad about that.

So i ask him,

“do you even realize that sometimes you act immature”.

“Of course."

“if you realize it, do you even feel ashamed by yourself. Or... you know, i know sometimes you feel you’re weird and different, then why don’t you try to act mature and grow up?”

“Why? Of course sometimes i feel weird, but does that matter? I had fun being like this. And i know many people who is immature like me, like you. Sometimes, i bring people happiness by being like this.”

“But you know not everyone gonna like you if you always act immature like that”

“I know, i don’t really care. Because, this is me. I’m immature, i live like this. I’m a grown up, i’m gonna be an adult soon. I know who i am, i’m this ‘immature’ person. Deal with it!

“Well, i know you must have been not accepted or bullied by your friends because your character, don’t you? What were you gonna do about it?”

“Yes i have, and it hurts so much. Especially when you’re still a pre-teen and want to be accepted by everyone. I always tried to change, but i can’t and it makes me sad.

But as i growing up, as i learn who i am. I realize that this is me, everyone has their own character, and this is mine. So i have to live with it, i have to make everyone to understand my immaturity, i have to blend and accepted by my friends with my character. Not trying to be someone else so people will accept me.

And as i said before, i happy with my immaturity, someone happy with my immaturiy, and there are many other immature people. So i’m never alone, i’m unique.”

“Ohh... that’s deep. So, you won’t try to be mature”

“No, i mean.. i know it how to act mature, i know how and when to act like that. But i don’t have to act mature everytime, instead i have to be myself! I mean, of course when my friend depressed and think about suicide... of course i won’t act immature and joking about his problem, that will make him really suicide.

So the point is, my immaturity is my character. And i mature enough to understand about my immaturity, my character and know how to use them properly”

“So, what do you think about your immaturity?”

Well, it’s a grace, it’s what makes me unique. And immaturity makes me forget all the problem and be happy, so why should i try to remove something that makes me happy?”

So, after that little chat. I realize that he had a same problem with me, not accepted by friends. But he has something that makes people don’t like him, but he doesn’t care because it makes him unique and happy. Instead, he make people like him because his “bad character”.

Then i realized again, i was a crybaby, but now i’m tough as hell. And that’s because i grew up with someone who is as immature as me, but stronger than me, Nanang. I learnt sooo many things from him, though i didn’t realize it. I learnt how to be happy with being myself, with my weirdness, with my immaturity. All thanks to Nanang.

Now, i can fit and blend with a new friends with my character and my body. I don’t feel unconfident and ashamed anymore. I’m happy being myself. 

Nanang? he still immature, even now i think he is more immature than me and sometimes i feel annoyed by him. But i never angry to him, i know that that is what makes me love him, his immaturity. I accept him. As a best bestfriend.

So, that’s all an “interview” with my friends. Something i learnt from him and my own experience is :

Know yourself, understand yourself, and live with it. Then you can find your own happiness from yourself. Just be yourself.

Hey everyone, how r u ? Now, i’m gonna tell you about an event by SMAN 3 Bandung : PAMAN GOBER

Paman Gober stands for “Penanaman dan Gowes Bersama”, or maybe say “Pak Taman Gowes Bersama”. It’s an closing event of Dewa Athena, SMAN 3’s sports event. Not only the students, teachers and school’s staff also join this event. This event was held on Saturday, 9 May 2015 in the morning.

We started cycling from Lapangan Bali. We were divided by 2 groups, i was in the front group at the beginning, but i was too slow, well not really, i just didn’t want to be in the front row, so i let people pass trough me, and i didn’t realize that i got separated from the front row. And so i join with the back group.

I don’t remember exactly the cycling route is, but we were supposed to go to Tegalega but we didn’t because... i don’t know. I was on the back group. I know nothing, just keep cycling following the others.

THEN! I realized we were arrived back at Lapangan Bali, i confused because there were no “Penanaman Bersama” in this event, we just cycling with a really short track ( It’s kinda short for cycling event), no planting any plant, and we just sat down and took a rest as we arrived.

I didn’t realize that there are only few people at the Lapangan Bali, where’s the others? Turns out that only the first/front group planted the tree. Well, i’m not even mad, that’s amazing, i was so lucky, because my friend told me it’s boring, hot, tired, and took so much time in there. While i and my group already take a rest.

Then, after everyone have arrived at Lapangan Bali, we took a rest and lunch together. After that, we continued the Dewa Athena event, all the final match were held on that day too. And BOOM, our class won 3 matchs, Female DodgeBall, Table Tennis, and Tug of War. These makes us took the second place for Grand Champion.

Woohoo, congrats to all my classmate, many people doubt that acceleration will win that much.

HDL CILAKI 293

Hello Everyone, now I’m gonna tell you about a place in Bandung. It’s called HDL Cilaki 293. It’s a seafood restaurant at Jalan Cilaki Bawah No. 36.

Look How Much is it!!!

You should come here in a group with your friends or family. Why? Because the food is so expensive! Well yeah, the food is expensive, it starts from Rp 40.000. BUT. It has a large portion per serving! REALLY LARGE.  So if you bring many friends with you, it doesn’t feel expensive at all. It’s impossible to leave this place without a full stomach.

There are many kind of seafood here. Shrimp, Shell,  Squid, Crab, Nasi Goreng Seafood, tofu, Fish etc. And there are many kind of Fish with many size. The food are served by many kind of sauce, Saus Tiram, Black pepper, ricarica, mentega, asam manis, and asam pedas.

In my opinion, the food doesn’t taste as good as famous seafood restaurant ( Such as Praoe and D’Cost ), but i doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s enough for me. I just want to tell you that if you want a quality, this is not your destination. BUT, if you want quantity, this place is perfect.

The place is strategic but the interior is just like a regular restaurant with a regular table and chair. The place is clean and comfortable. The service is pretty good.

SO! That’s all i want to tell you today. I suggest you to come here and bring your friends/family as many as you can. This is not a best place to eat seafood, but it’s a best place to hangout while eating seafood. Oh and yeah, i suggest you to empty your stomach before come here, and avoid lunchtime/breaktime, because it will get you stuck on a trafficjam around that place.

This is the fourth track from Ghost Stories album. This album theme is about the band’s lead vocalist, Chris Martin’s  divorce from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. The whole song of the album is about heartbreaking, telling how much he love her, and loneliness. He feel so lost without his wife, he kept thinking about her, it haunting him, just like a ghost.

Lyrically, “True Love” talks about heartache and how the protagonist ( Chris ) can’t bear the pain of losing, loneliness, sadness. The truth is too painful to bear that he want his partner to lie to him.

The song generally received positive reviews from many music critics, who commended the song's raw honesty and its lyrics, which were seen as haunting and painfully truthful.

The song's main instrumentation consists in heavy rhythms, dancing synths and wallowing strings. It also features a guitar solo. If you listen to this song carefully, you can feel the heartbreak. I REALLY almost cried when listening to this song the first time.

This is my personal favorite track from this album.

This is the live version of True Love. This is the video of the song where i almost cried. Maybe because this song is too beautiful or i was just to excited to hear this song. ( This video came out when the album is released )

How is it going everyone? Now, i want to make my first movie review. I want to review : TAKEN (2008). Because i just watched it and i really love this movie. So, Let’s Go! (SPOILER ALERT)

17 yo Kim (Maggie Grace) is the pride and joy of her father, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson). Bryan is a retired CIA agent who left his job to be near with his daughter in california. Kim lives with her mother, Lenore (Famke Jensen) and her rich stepfather Stuart.

Kim manages to convince her overprotective father, Bryan, to allow her to travel to pariswith her friend.

Shortly after  landing in the Paris, Kim and her friend kidnapped by Albanians to be sold as prostitutes. Kim has short time to call her father and give him information before she taken. Her father gets to speak briefly to one of the kidnappers and he promises the kidnapper this awesome

But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. But then, the kidnapper challenged and wishes him “Good Luck”. So Bryan Mills travels to hunt those kidnappers and rescue his daughter.

IMO, this is an awesome thriller action movies. I love the action that Bryan showed us. He trying all his best just to save his daughter. He use detective skill, fighting skill, shooting skill that he learnt when he worked as CIA.

Liam Neeson brings the character a hard-edged, cold-blooded, merciless focused anger. He looks so badass in this movies, he just focused on saving his daughter and kill everyone that trying to stop him, even his friend from police department, Bryan shoot his friend’s wife just to get some information from his friend.

Bryan Mills show them (the kidnappers) that they messing with the wrong person.

Taken is not just another action movie that contain many shootings, a lot of fight and car races. But the real drama lies in the reality of human trafficking and the love of a father.

This movie is one of my favorite movies. You should give it a shot, it’s gonna be worth to watch. Although the action is far from James Bond or Bourne, but the drama,tension and the plot is enough to make this movie awesome.

I’ll give it a rate 8.6/10
